Carlos helped establish the mexican food category across the midwest in the early 80s. Now, more than four decades later, it was important to demonstrate they were more relevant today than ever. Working with Justin McClure Creative, we built a brand campaign to celebrate why guests dine at Carlos. For its real food, made real fresh to be real good...with real value, too. Still Real O'Mazing. since 1981. As a continuation in creating brand relevance, our in-house marketing team created a compelling reason for guests to visit. Centered around Carlos’ famous margaritas, we crafted the big idea - MAYgarita Month. The best prices on the best margs...all month. This campaign turned a typically soft sales period into one of the best months of the year.
